Why We Built KeyPopKids
⌨️ Designed for desktop and laptop computers with a physical keyboard. It started with a 2-year-old who wanted to "help" every time we sat down at the computer. The problem was, there wasn't anything built for him to safely explore or enjoy on a keyboard. Every app was either too complicated, too restrictive, or just not fun enough for a toddler.
That's what led to KeyPopKids — a simple, interactive experience where kids can play, learn, and get comfortable using a keyboard at their own pace. No pressure, no wrong answers, just color, sound, and creativity every time they press a key.

We do not collect any personal information. KeyPopKids does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personal details to use the site.
All session data — including key press history, badges earned, and Parent Dashboard statistics — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
KeyPopKids is designed for young children and is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account creation is required. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted from child users.
Cookies & Tracking
KeyPopKids does not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising. The only browser storage we use is localStorage to save your session stats locally on your own device.

KeyPopKids uses the following third-party services:
CountAPI — a simple counter to display total global key presses. No personal data is sent.
